Tufts STOMP Fellow Comment

At the end of my STOMP classroom last semester, the students made hand-written cards thanking me for coming in to their classroom each week.  They were definitely the most appreciative notes I've ever received - and the unique messages, beautiful pictures, and improper grammar will stay with me for a long time.  Many of the girls in the class expressed that they too wanted to become engineers.  An especially memorable message - "Andrea, in a world of chaos, you ROCK!"

How to Join for Tufts Students

STOMP at Tufts has historically been a paid job, which selects participants based on an application process. Starting this year, in conjunction with an Ex-College course taught by Ronnee Yashon, STOMP can be either a paid job OR can be awarded class credit. Any undergraduate or graduate student at Tufts in any discipline is eligible for the job. STOMP is also available as a work study position. To apply for the Fall 2008 semester, submit the STOMP Fellow Application to the CEEO before September 10th, 2008. Applicants are chosen at the beginning of each semester.

For more information about Tufts STOMP and the responsibilities of a Tufts STOMP fellow, please feel free to attend our general interest meeting September 10th, 2008 at noon in Anderson Hall 306 or read the following document:
