Week 8 - Exploring Gears - Gear Merry-Go-Round

In order to give the students tools to do their final project, this week we talked about gears and gear trains. We taught  them how to tell what size a gear was and then had them build a wall on which they could arrange the gears in a gear train. Finally, they were able to attach a motor and simple motor brick to the gear train and create a "Gear Merry-Go-Round" for the Lego person to ride on.
