This week we decided to introduce the students to the concepts behind robotics.  First, we handed out a packet with signs printed on them (stop, go, right/left turn, and u-turn signs).  Then, we went over what these signs meant.  Afterwards, each pair went to another part of the room and had to direct one of us (a robot) through a maze we had made with duct tape on the floor using only the signs.  The kids seemed to really enjoy it, but it was important that the pairs didn't see another group go through the maze before they had done it, or else it was too easy for them.  While the pairs weren't doing the maze, they drew out their own mazes on a sheet of paper and then tried to complete their peers' mazes.
