Lesson 9: Pulleys

Today we taught the class how to make pulleys using legos and string.  We started by discussing when we see pulleys in everyday life.  The students were really good at defining what pulleys do, and when they are used.  Then, the class divided into pairs and each pair made a pulley.  Then, a lego man was placed at the end of the string, and they pulled him off the ground to the top of a table using the pulley.  The students enjoyed the activity.
