 As Mrs.  McPherson's and Mrs. Carafotes's are "team" classrooms,there will be a single blog for each classroom under Carafotes.  

This week we did a review of what the students did last semester.  We set up four stations to review some of the major concepts they went over last semester.  The first station was a review of the engineering design process.  We brought in cards of the engineering design process and they needed to sort the index cards and then record the process on their worksheet.  The second and third station were massing objects and measuring their volume and then calculating the density.  This worked fairly well, except the index cards were too a little to large, so they required weights from multiple scale sets.  The final station was identifying the layers of the earth and the densest layer.  The entire event worked fairly well, but the first and fourth stations were very short compared to the second and third, so we had a build up of people trying to measure volume or mass.
