Dear Journal,

Today in Science and Engineering class, I learned how to useSAM.  It is an awesome animationprogram that allows simple movies to be made by taking pictures in quicksuccession- like an animated flipbook!

Last night I stole a box of chocolate covered coffee beansfrom my dad’s closet, and I gave everyone else in the class 5 beans before wewent.  I decided to increase theentropy in the class, so I gave everyone another two a couple minutes intoclass.  We were literally bouncingoff the walls!

A lot of other students brought dodgeballs and basketballsto class so Daniel and Carly decided that we would make a video on how to playdodgeball.  Somehow they herded usto the chairs so we could watch as Daniel showed us how to use the SAMapplication.  It is pretty simple.

Then we split up into groups to make the video on how toplay dodgeball.  Each of us tookturns using the computer to record the frames while the other two or threestudents acted out each step.
