Week 8: Final Project, amuesment park rides |
This week we began our final projects. For the final project we are going to have the students design and build an amusement park ride using LEGOs and their RCXs. We introduced this lesson using the engineering design process. We made a worksheet that has all the steps of the design process on it that we are going to use for all three weeks. The students mostly researched and planned their ideas and began to build their prototypes. The class was cut a few minutes short because of a field trip, but the students got a good start on their designs.
