This week we had the students build cars that they will use for the upcoming weeks to learn about programming and how to use the different sensors. We had each team build from a build guide so that they had standard cars, which would make teaching programming easier. The students did not have trouble building the cars, but we ran into a little bit of trouble with programming. We did group programming and led them through a couple very simple programs, but for some reasons some of the cars didn't program correctly. Some of the students got frustrated by their cars not working, and we had to leave because class was over. It was frustrating to have to leave and tell the students "sorry we don't know why it's not working" but they knew that we were going to continue with the activity in the next class so they weren't that frustrated.
