There was a lot of uncertainty about whether or not we would have kits to start our NXT curriculum by this class, so we brought materials for egg drop as well. When we got there there were no computers with the MXT software installed so we did the egg drop activity. Some of the kids had already done it, so we gave them a limited amount of materials to make it more challenging. 

Most groups successfully completed the challenge in about half the class time, and instead of extending the activity, we decided to have them move on to building an NXT car for our activity next week. They had a very hard time with this, so we are planning to give them a lot more guidance next week.
