This was the first lesson, so the kids were a little wild, but it went pretty well. We had them build catapults similar to the lesson from the Wednesday meeting. They were given legos, plastic spoons, rubber bands, and tape. It was a bad idea to initially give them the balls to launch because they were flying around the classroom. We saved about 10 minutes at the end to have a competition of whose catapult could launch the ball the farthest.
