April 6th 2010

On April 6th we did the Eggdrop activity. We came into the classroom and they were still organizing themselves from their last subject. The teacher seemed a little frazzled so when we started our lesson it was a little difficult to gain control. We used the same dollar system with the materials once we got to the activity and that helped again. However, some groups got a little out of control once their egg broke and gave up on the activity dispite getting a new egg.

The final drops went well but no eggs fully survived. The winning team had a slight crack.

Despite the class being rowdier today i think the lesson went well. The teacher was continuously interrupting students to get their homework for other subjects which didn't help us maintain their focus but it was clearly unintentional.
