For our first week back for the spring session, we introduced the new students to the NXT software. They had already been meeting for a few weeks with just the teachers and had been working on building cars. Some of the students had their cars completed, but some were still struggling with learning how to build the NXTs, so we gave 3 or 4 programming experiments for the students who were ready to program and let the other students continue building. The teachers were very involved as usual. One of the teachers brought students who were still struggling to another classroom to help them build. The other teacher helped the students test out their programs and helped them come up with new ideas for how to modify the programs.
