For our final week that the International School of Boston, we began the relay race activity. We split the class into three groups of 6 or 7 each and had them develop a strategy and brainstorm about what sensors they wanted to use and how they wanted to go about building. Each teacher selected a group of students to work with primarily, and Jenna and I helped with the third group. We knew this would be our last week at the school, so we set up the activity so that the teachers could continue it with the students in the coming weeks. The teachers plan to get in touch with Elsa when their school year is closer to over so they can arrange for a time for Elsa to pick up the kits.
