Angelo Mathews is one of the most successful and decorated cricketers in the world. Some of his achievements include:

• In November 2010, Mathews along with Lasith Malinga recorded the highest ninth himself scoring 77 not out.
• The Sri Lankan team recorded the most wins in ODI in 2014 under Mathew’s leadership. They won 20 out of total 32 matches, with a winning percentage of 62.50.
• While playing the last pool match of the 2015 ICC World Cup against Scotland in March 2015, he scored a half-century off just 20 balls, thus becoming the only Sri Lankan to do so in any of the World Cups.
• After taking his 100th ODI wicket in July 2015, he became only the fourth Sri Lankan all-rounder to do so with more than 3000 runs to his name.
