Dhoni and Yuvraj
Yuvraj Singh remarked that Bhajji advised MSD to make Joginder bowl the final over

Indian legend Yuvraj Singh has made a massive admission sixteen years after India won the 2007 T20 World Cup and stated that it was Harbhajan Singh who advised MS Dhoni to make Joginder Sharma bowl the final over.

Notably, Pakistan required 13 runs in the final over. Harbhajan and Joginder had one over left, but MSD went ahead with Sharma instead of experienced Harbhajan and the gamble worked for him.

Yuvraj, who appeared on the Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, revealed that Bhajji told Dhoni that he had been hit for three sixes and Joginder should bowl the final over and MS agreed.

“There was actually a decision where Bhajji was supposed to bowl the final over. Dhoni went up to him and said that with experience, only you have to bowl. So, Bhajji said, ‘I bowled to Misbah one over and he smashed me for three sixes, so go with Joginder.’ It was Harbhajan who gave that idea to him.”

Recently, Yuvraj also revealed that he and MSD are not close friends, as they have different lifestyles.
