MS Dhoni stole the limelight at Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday party in Mumbai. The former Indian cricket captain attended the celebration on the same day as India’s ODI World Cup match against Sri Lanka, not too far from his location.
Surprising everyone, Dhoni attended the event without his wife, Sakshi Dhoni. He sported an elegant black blazer and shirt and appeared in pictures with Fauzia Adeel Butt, Producer & CEO of FAB Entertainment.
Among the star-studded guest list were Bollywood celebrities such as Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt, who graced SRK’s birthday celebration. MS Dhoni shares a close camaraderie with the Bollywood superstar, and the Chennai Super Kings captain is once again in the spotlight as he gears up for the upcoming IPL season with CSK. Despite recently undergoing knee surgery, Dhoni is eager to participate in the next season, calling it “a gift from my side for the fans.”
Shah Rukh Khan, expressing his admiration for Dhoni, once humorously stated, “I am ready to sell my pajamas to buy Dhoni in IPL auctions.” The charismatic CSK skipper’s availability in player auctions has been a rarity, with his groundbreaking $1.5 million bid by CSK in 2008 being the highest at the time.
Despite flirtations with other teams, including KKR in 2018, Dhoni has remained a loyal figure for CSK.
